Free Google Website For Your Airbnb
While the preferred method is to have your own separate website, if you don’t want to go that route you can take advantage of Google’s free business website for your Airbnb. This Google product is a part of their Google Bussiness Profile, previously called Google My Business. If you don’t already have a GBP / GMB profile this is a great time to build one as every business should have one in this internet era.
Website Sections
The Google business website is a basic one-page website. This isn’t a website that will have tons of features but it covers all the basics. The top section (above) features a message us button and a call now button in the menu bar. This is followed by the Business name and main category again with a button that you can customize. We choose a text message button in this example.
The next section includes Updates / Posts / Offers / Events that you post to your GBP (GMB). This is going to be the main content portion of your business website. On your GBP you will make the articles with photos just like a normal blog, these posts are on both google maps profile and your business website.
After the post section, we have the summary section which is where we put our “Who Are We” which for us is our description. This is also where you should link to all your other online assets as you can see we did with our website, Instagram and Facebook. This is where you’d want to put all your social accounts and home-sharing sites like Airbnb and VRBO.
The final section is the contact us portion and this is directly taken from the Google Business Profile you set up.
